What a Way to Start Your Day!

Kathy Streib gets us going in the morning with her great idea of thinking of that one small positive when you wake up in the morning instead of the typical "oh-just 10 more minutes" like me. Just one small thought can change your day! "The Power of Positive is Profound" - Bobbie Smith. Thanks Kathy for the inspiration.

What a Way to Start Your Day!

How often do you wake up and think “ugh… I have to go (fill in the blank) quote for the daytoday.”

Perhaps you’re one of those lucky ones who bounces out of bed every morning but for the rest of us I want to share with you something I read this morning.

One Small

in the morning….

Can Change the Entire

Outcome of Your Day.”

                  (author unknown)

I had an early WCR breakfast to attend and would have to miss my morning walk.  GR-r-r-r-r I thought. But then as I was trying to pry my eyes open I saw this quote on a newsfeed app I have on my iPhone.

I decided to give it a try.  It doesn’t matter what I thought of, but the point is that it was small… nothing of any magnitude… and it really did work.

It’s all about your attitude, isn’t it.  And, it doesn’t take much.  It could be that smile someone gives you as you walk by or seeing a photograph of your loved one.

The next time you’re ready to head out the door for the day, or you’re on your way to a meeting, stop and take a look in the mirror.

Think of something positive, something that will bring a smile to your face.

Now- take a deep breath, don’t let go of that smile and think “Bring it on!”

Bobbie, I start with a positive thought everyday. My day is great and full of favor. Each day I wake up with this being my first thinking of the day.

Good morning Kathy.  I wake up and right off the bat say thank you for the chance to do so and make it a great day.  Positive thinking is a must do!

Kathy nailed it with this positive thoughts post. This was a very good re-blog choice, Bobbie.

Hi Frank. Sounds like a great way to start the day. Good for you.

Hi John, so glad to hear you already have this action licked (LOL) and start your day that way every day.

Hi Kathy, It was a great post worth sharing.

She did Anita, right? I agree. Thanks for the reinforcement. I've got to remember this each morning.

Bobbie, mindfulness is the order of the day and being really in touch with yourself and how you are blessed is so important.
