The Average Sold Price of homes sold in Saylorsburg PA for September was $241k, UP 28% from $188k for September of 2013. Saylorsburg was one of the few cities of the Poconos that saw positive trends in sale price.  Perhaps because there were only 2 foreclosures sold during September.

 

The Average List Price of homes for sale in Saylorsburg was $216k for September versus $200k for September 2013.

 

NUMBER OF HOMES SOLD IN SAYLORSBURG PA:

 

The Number of Homes Sold in Saylorsburg PA for September was 14, UP 100% from 7 for September 2013.  It is great to see that the demand for homes remains high in the Saylorsburg PA Real estate market report.  With increased demand comes better prices, eventually.

The Saylorsburg market is looking strong.  This area is also eligible for the no down payment USDA Mortgage program, which allows more potential buyers to qualify.  More potential buyers always helps a local market.
