It's August, Feels like Fall already sadly, The Blooms are Beautiful!

Although it is only August here in Northeast PA the morning and evening Temps have been too chilly and it sure feels like Fall. I'm not ready for that!

cleome and black eyed susans

The Good News is that the Cleome and the Black Eyed Susans Bloom at their Best in August and are basically taking over my Gardens.  Each year I relocate a few more of them and you sure can tell. They are everywhere now.

It's Pink and Yellow all around with some Bright Pink from the never ending Rose Bush in the middle of all that Cleome. This Rose Bush blossoms constantly. Best Rose Bush I have ever owned.

The Fruits of your Labors are a great Reward on these Cool Fall Days!

Good morning Bobbie .. I am originally from the Butler county area and the mornings you are describing remind me of going back to school every fall.  Your gardens are lush and beautiful.

Bobbie,

It has not been that cool here, but there is a autumnal scent in the air, that we have perceived especially at the beach...I am wondering if we are going to have an early winter.  I love your garden, what a riot of color.  A

We still have a bit of warm weather, but the cooler temps are on their way! No time to slow down today to enjoy the flowers. Bummer for me!

Oh my gosh, Bobbi. Your photos are just so pretty. Gee, I am with you on let's delay Winter - ; in fact, let's skip a year. Like who needs Winter? Some states manage very nicely without it. They even ski on the big island, Hawaii.

Wonderful gardens with colors in PA, Bobbie...the red rose variety I have that blooms from spring to fall is called 'Knockout' and it really is stunning too...I hope you are holding up ok.
