The Average Sold Price for June 2014 was $72k versus $104k for June 2013.

 

The Average sold price for Monroe County for June was $129k.

 

NUMBER OF HOMES SOLD IN LONG POND PA FOR JUNE:

 

The Number of Homes Sold for June 2014 was 7 versus 9 for June 2013, 4 of them were foreclosures. Almost 50% of the sales for the Month. EWWW!

Bobbie: Slowly but surely the inventory is moving in Long Pond. With a strong autumn selling season this market could be balanced by years end.

Bobbie, Looks like that chunk of foreclosures sold is negatively impacting the average sold prices, but at least it's special cause and not the normal homes selling for that much cheaper.

Sales numbers are up but prices are down so it must be because of a large number of REOs. You know your data and buyers and sellers should call you.
