Sellers-You Are Responsible for Your MLS Photos!
photos are. They are! 90% of buyers will begin their search for their new home on the Internet.
Buyers are human and if your MLS photos don't look good when viewed on their laptop or tablet, then chances are your Buyers will move on to the next listing.
Barring an incredible price or the fact that your house is the only one left in your zip code for sale, then there will be other properties Buyers will want to see.
This is why YOU are responsible for your MLS photos!
Yes, your agent will take the photos and market your property but ultimately it is YOUR house.
What you can do?
1. Get it camera ready and market ready!
Part of my Home Staging consultation involves taking photos of the house and letting you see them through the eyes of the camera.
Edit your furnishings and furniture to let your square footage show.
Hire a professional Home Stager! That’s our job! It’s what we do! It’s not just about knocking down walls and moving furniture around.
We are there to help you show all of the possibilities of your space!
2. Look at your MLS photos!
Ask yourself if you would want to see your property based solely on the photos.
If you are not happy with them, ask your agent to retake them.
They don’t have to be Architectural Digest Perfect, be realistic.
But ask yourself… is this how you want your house presented to potential Buyers?
