The Average Sold Price in Pocono Pines for May 2014 was $180k, down from $262k for April,  DOWN from $430k for May 2013.

 

NUMBER OF HOMES SOLD IN POCONO PINES:

 

The Number of Homes Sold in Pocono Pines for May 2014 was 6, down from 7 for April, down from 7 for May 2013.  Only one of them being a foreclosure.

 

YEAR TO DATE STATISTICS FOR POCONO PINES 2014:

 

The Average Sold Price in the Pocono Pines PA Real Estate Market Report for 2014 is $225k, versus $290k for YTD 2013. Disappointing.

Bobbie, Good to see the average days on market shrinking for the homes that sell, but with absorption rate up to 20 months it makes it even clearer that the homes that DO sell have to be priced right and marketed right by a pro such as you!

Hi Bobbie, your work on the Pocono Pines PA market reports is outstanding.  I have heard that in many areas 2014 has 30% less sales compared to 2013. Your expertise should help sellers (and buyers) take notice of what the values really are and prices will adjust.

It appears that the Pocono Pines real estate market continues to have some challenges, Bobbie.  I hope that this is only temporary.
