AVERAGE SOLD PRICE OF THOSE HOMES SOLD IN LONG POND FOR APRIL:

 

The Average Sold Price for April 2014 was $56k versus $99k for April 2013.

 

The Average sold price for Monroe County for April was $115k.

 

NUMBER OF HOMES SOLD IN LONG POND PA FOR APRIL:

 

The Number of Homes Sold for April 2014 wa 4 versus 4 for April 2013.

 

The Number of homes sold in Monroe County for April 2014 was 164.

 

YEAR TO DATE STATISTICS IN THE LONG POND PA REAL ESTATE MARKET REPORT:

 

The Average Sold Price Year To Date in Long Pond PA for 2014 is $105k compared to $100k for 2013 and the Number of Homes Sold Year to date is 21 versus11 for 2013.

 

This is in line with the overall statistics for the Poconos as the Number of Homes being sold on a monthly basis has been on the rise for the last 18 months.  Demand continues to rise and that is a good thing on our Road to Recovery in the housing market in the Poconos.  As demand continues to rise our prices will soon stabilize and then begin to increase gradually.
