Bobbie: What a unique event that is sure to bring out the masses.  All except vampires that is. ;-)

Bobbie, wishing you great weather for the Pocono Garlic Festival over the Labor Day weekend in Shawnee, PA!  It would be fun to sample a wide variety of dishes with garlic in it, but I am not sure I am ready for some garlic ice cream!

Bobbie,

As an Italian, I can see a lot of value in a garlic festival. Enjoy!

Hi Sharon and Bruce, I cannot imagine eating that either but I understand it was a hit. Must be real "die-hard" garlic lovers out there!

Hey Amanda and Jared, I'm right there with you but I wonder . . . . is that why it is only open until 6pm? LOL

Rich, Boy, I bet you can. It's something how when you walk past someone you can tell whether or not they had a lot of garlic for dinner the night before. They say the "ills" that garlic can fend off are numerous.

Will, I love my funnel cake too but like you, Garlic funnel cake does not appeal to me. There are so many fairs in the area right now, I could have funnel cake every night, if it wasn't so fattening!

Posted by Bobbie Smith, 570-242-1891 almost 5 years ago

Bobbie, I do not remember it being fattening but that was along time ago.

Bobbie, I have never heard of anything like this but love the concept. I guess you just have to use your imagination and go see for yourself.
