Hi  Bobbie,

I was at a birthday celebration yesterday and I just commented on Dorie's post (ActiveRainer) from Austin because the lady I sat across from was from Austin. And now, I'm sharing with you that the lady sitting next to me was originally from the Poconos. I asked her how she liked living there and what did she remember the most. The woman's eyes lit up and she talked with great enthusiasm for her love for the Poconos, her childhood memories, family, friends, and all the good times they had together.

This woman was just like you Bobbie - authentic, sincere, informative, thoughtful and kind.

Oh my gosh Patricia! What a small world. Thank you for sharing that and the wonderful compliments.  I recently spoke to someone else who had wonderful childhood memories from spending their summers in the Poconos. It's a great place to retreat and refresh! You have a wonderful day!

Hi Andrew,The map is a work in progress since once I started the number of lakes in the area was so many, it takes quite some time to outline and highlight all the lakes in our area. Thanks!

Hi Kathy, You're right. There is something special about being near the water.  If you cannot be at the ocean (my prefered location of course) you might as well be next to a Lake, and we have plenty of them. Thank you!
