I'm staying in the area with a friend and was looking at homes and like that each one has a nice amount of tree space around them. Then I drove down one road a few times this week and became very discouraged,... a homeowner, I suppose, has been cutting down trees. Early on I thought he was doing some winter prep work but 4 days later its cleared half way between the house and the road. I want a home in the mountains were I can enjoy nature and the peace and quiet that the wooded area provides, not one that can be turned into a city like setting by one person with a chainsaw. I'll keep looking, elsewhere.
