Hi Bobbie, Congrats on the feature. Timber Hill sounds like an affordable community for first time buyers, especially with that $505 yearly HOA fees. Wow, in my city that would be monthly :) Have a fabulous weekend!

Bobbie, the low association dues make it a very affordable location for home buyers. Nice report!

Posted by Michael Setunsky, Your Commercial Real Estate Link to Northern VA over 6 years ago

Hi Michael, Yes, it certainly does and with home values mostly in the "Median" price range in this community, it is very affordable. Thanks for stopping by.  I appreciate the support.

Sounds like a terrific 1st home community.  It's usually the HOA fees that keep young people out.  Great job.

Hi Chris and Dick. So true. The HOA fees can make the home they love unattainable in so many communities.

I live in this association and yes the dues are only $505 a year, But the roads are NOT all paved and they are not taken care of by the township.  The ONLY road the township takes care of is TIMBERHILL RD & BROWNSHILL RD.  All other roads are the responsibility of the association.  I have lived here since 2004 and my road has yet to be paved or patched or filled in... Not a happy home owner...  The Pool is barely bigger than 16 x 24, the basketball courts are run down, the only thing you can do is rent the administration building...  Quietness yes, no traffic yes... is it worth monthly car repairs.  Absolutely not...

Hi Pam, Thank you so much for stopping by.  I greatly appreciate you taking the time to let me know of the errors in my post and I will go in and correct them now.  I am so sorry you are not happy there.  They really need to bring all the roads up to Township standards and turn them over to the township however the problem with that is they would probably pass that expense on to the homeowner and I am sure most of them would not want that nor would they be able to afford it.  I noticed that they did not open the pool this year.  Such a shame too with it being a hot, hot summer.  Again, Thank you for stopping by and  correcting me.  I appreciate that.
