Archbald Pothole State Park - located North of Scranton PA, this State Park showcases a huge Glacial Pothole.
Beltzville State Park - boasts a 949 acre lake for boating and beach for recreational fun and is located in the southern Pocono region in Beltzville, PA.
Big Pocono State Park - offers phenomenal views from atop Camelback Mountain and
hiking trails and is located in Tannersville, PA.
Frances Slocum State Park - offers lake, hiking and camping and is located just 10 miles from Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Gouldsboro State Park - offers a 250 acre lake, hiking and biking trails and is located just off I-380 in Gouldsboro, PA
Hickory Run State Park - is home to the National Natural Landmark of Boulder Field, a striking boulder-strewn area and offers streams, camping, hiking, and plenty more. They are located off of Route 534, northwest of Albrightsville, PA. Easily to locate from the intersection of the PA Turnpike and I-80 near White Haven, PA
Jacobsburg State Park - offers an Educational Center for pre-schoolers to College students along with hiking, biking, and more. They are located near Wind Gap, PA off of Route 33.
Lackawanna State Park - is located just north of Scranton, PA and offers Lake, hiking, biking, camping and more.
Lehigh Gorge State Park - is located close to Jim Thorpe, PA and offers great Whitewater Boating, hiking and biking trails and more.
Nescopeck State Park - is located close to the Hazleton, Mountain Top, PA area and offers fishing and hiking.
Promised Land State Park - is located north of Canadensis, PA on Route 390 and offers a Lake, swimming, fishing, camping, picnicikng, and education.
Prompton State Park - is located near Dalton, PA and offers a Lake, boating, biking, fishing, and hiking.
Ricketts Glen State Park - is located north of Bloomsburg, Pa and offers beautiful cascading waterfalls, swimming, hiking, biking, and education.
Tobyhanna State Park - is located in Tobyhanna, PA and offers Lake. boating, hiking, biking, and camping. NOTE: the website is offering a warning to hikers who may hike in the remote areas of the park to watch out for old, unexploded artillary shells. OOPS! Guess we will not hike the remote areas.
Varden Conservation Area - is located near Lake Ariel, Pa and offers education and hiking.
