Pocono Real Estate Market Trends for April 2012
The Market Trends for April 2012 when compared to April of 2011 are partially following the same path that March did. The number of homes sold went up but the average sold price went down.
The number of homes sold went up for 2012 by 10% when compared to 2011.
The average sold price fell for 2012 by 18% when compared to 2011.
In the total number of homes sold for April, 36 of them were foreclosures, 27% of the total sales.
Year To Date the number of homes sold is up by 8% and the average sold price is down by 10%.
With the average sold price being approximately $129,000 that brings the average sold price per square foot of the sold homes to $69.60, averaging 156 to 212 days on the market.
