SPRING CLEANING - can be done with products that are more "natural" and safer for our environment as shown in this great post from Dorie. Whether you are spring cleaning inside or spring gardening and yard clean-up outside, please! check for alternatives to caustic and harsh and expensive chemicals. You will save money and get the same result. Actually a better result especially indoors because then you are not breathing in all those harsh chemicals, another good reason not to use them. Thank you!
It’s that time of year that brings out the “nesting” in all of us. Whether you are de-cluttering and cleaning to get your home ready for market or just cleaning for cleaning sake, you will want to use good old fashion cleaning recipes for the best results!

Bobbie & Dorie, thanks for the cool tips. Some of these made me flashback to my Mom in the 1970's, she actually used to make some of these recipes back in the day, it was cheaper and just as good as store bought-far less toxic. Thanks for a few new ones and the trip down memory lane!
