The number of homes sold for the First Quarter of 2012 in Pocono Real Estate were 315. When compared to last year for the same time frame (298) our numbers are up by 5%. YAHOO!
Out of the 315 homes sold for the First Quarter of 2012, Foreclosures accounted for 95 of them or approximately 30% of the total sales.
The average sold price for homes sold in the 1st Quarter of 2012 in Pocono Real Estate was 136K. This number is down 7% when compared to the averages for the same time frame of last year (146k), partly attributable to the high rate of forclosure sales. BOOHOO!
There are currently 2373 homes on the Market For Sale in the Pocono Real Estate Market (Monroe County stats) with an average list price of $183,000.00, and 117 of those are Foreclosures (as of today which is 4-7-12 and this # changes daily).
