In doing some research and reading on Open Space in the Poconos I came across the website of the Brodhead Watershed Association.

Brodhead Creek in the Poconos Protecting our water and environment is the Goal of preserving many areas of open space in the Poconos.

This latest purchase of 777 acres is a major Positive step in preserving our Environment for our children. This purchase helps to assure our drinking water remains safe.

I'm not sure how many of us realize that this water protects water miles and miles downstream, not just locally but much farther down also.

We really owe some "kudos" to the organizations involved in keeping our drinking water safe for us, for our children and for our childrens children.

The purchase of the 777 acres does more than preserve water and the environment. It also gives us more areas to hike and bike and get the exercise and fresh air that we all need.  And Abby would certainly say "Abby says - I Love Open Space. It is perfect for taking me for walks. Come on Mom, let's go."

Abby says I need to go for a walk If you can get involved in a few of these Committees it sure would help, it would help all of us.

Let's all do our share.
