Hi There! I have some GREAT news and some not so great news regarding the market trends for POCONO REAL ESTATE.
The GREAT news is that the number of homes sold for April as reported on our flexmls system as of 5-4-10 IS UP 27%. UP 27%! Can you believe that. The not so great news is that the average sale price reported for the same time frame is down 10%. BOO HOO. That I did not want to see and I am sure you did not want to see that either.
Well, guess we have to take the good with the bad on the POCONO REAL ESTATE market trends - right? Right!
The number of homes sold for April of 2010 was 135 whereas the number of homes sold for 2009 was 106, hence the 27% difference (in the right direction for a change) The average sale price for homes sold in April of 2010 was 149K whereas the average sale price for 2009 was 166K, hence the difference of -10% (not in the right direction). Hopefully the gragh below will give you a good "view" of these stats for POCONO REAL ESTATE for April of 2010.
