Here are the quarterly statistics for the 2nd quarter of 2009, for the number of homes sold and for the average sold price. As I had stated back on my blog for the first quarter stats, these numbers have improved. The number sold is down 19% for the 2nd quarter versus being down 25% for the 1st quarter. The average sale price for the 2nd quarter was down 13% versus being down 15% for the 1st quarter. As the market continues to pick up the stats will get better. Let's hope it continues for the rest of the year and the years to come. The economy sure could use the lift! (every little bit helps).
