THE BEAUTY OF THE POCONOS CREEKS.
The POCONO weather was so gorgeous today I just had to get out and see some of it. One of the advantages of getting plenty of rain is the sounds of the creeks, and the flow of the creeks after a storm. I visited 3 creeks today and they were all just beautiful. As one who greatly enjoys the sounds of water, the creeks did not disppoint me.
If you are visiting the POCONOS in the near future I hope you get to enjoy one of our many streams, creeks, or lakes.
MONROE COUNTY has 117 lakes - now that's a high water table! Many can be enjoyed from one of our numerous state parks.
However for most people this weekend the BIG thing will of course be fishing season. So if you go fishing, GOOD LUCK! Otherwise please be courteous to those that are fishing and do not disturb their area while they are fishing.
